ANIMAL TIPS AND CARE -

  • HELP! MY PET IS LOST - 1. Call local pounds, police departments, and local humane association. 2. Put up fliers at local supermarkets and other high traffic areas. 3. Put ads and photos in your local newspapers. 4. Call local schools and ask them to announce your lost pet over the PA system. 5. Call local vets, place fliers in vet offices. 6. Be sure to be home or connected to a phone. 7. Be persistent, don't give up looking.      
  • NEVER LEAVE YOUR PET UNATTENDED IN A HOT CAR. Temperature in car can rise quickly.
  • ALWAYS CUT APART YOUR PLASTIC SIX PACK OF SODA RINGS. Animals can get stuck in them.
  • NEVER FEED BIRDS SALTED FOOD.  It just makes them thirsty, and their bodies cannot hold much water.
  • ALWAYS CLEAN YOUR HOME OR BUSINESS WITH CLEANERS THAT CONTAIN NO CHEMICALS. The chemicals get into your animals food and water and also on the floors and carpets.
  • ALWAYS PUT A REFLECTOR COLLAR ON YOUR ANIMAL.
